Our mission is simple: to provide a relaxing atmosphere for our men & women in uniform and to our military families who we owe so much. We strive to give the soldiers and their families a place that they can feel at home, enjoy quality food, lively spirits, and celebrate friendship. Sláinte!
Our Story
Where It All Began
Louisiana based Geaux Culinary,
LLC in Partnership with Chad Hughes has opened it’s second location of Happy’s Irish Pub on Ft. Bliss,
Texas. The original Happy’s still sits in downtown Baton Rouge, as it has now for nearly 15 years.
Happy’s Fort Bliss is the first combat veteran owned restaurant & pub on post and was brought to the
Texas army base to serve military families and soldiers, become engaged with the installation as well as
the Fort Bliss surrounding community. Happy’s Fort Bliss aims to provide a clean and safe environment
that welcomes family and friends with great food and spirits, all without ever having to leave the base.
Even more important is the fact that Happy’s incorporates veteran’s, their spouses and dependents as
employees at our military locations. Happy’s also gives veterans the opportunity for ownership with our
motto of, “whom better to serve us than us?” It’s not a tag line, it is truly who we are.
